Deidra M. Casaus, O.D.

Dr. Deidra Casaus was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the University of New Mexico and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1987. She then continued her education at the University of Houston and received a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991.

Dr. Casaus began her work with Kaiser Pemanente Medical Groups in Dallas, TX before venturing out on her own in small town, Mesquite, Texas. She then practiced Optometry in Roswell, New Mexico for eight years before finally returning back home to the Albuquerque area. In 2004, Dr. Casaus opened her current private practice in Bernalillo, New Mexico where she will remain until she retires.

Dr. Casaus enjoys helping people of all ages with their most precious sense. She is able to communicate with her patients in English and Spanish.

Dr. Casaus married Chris Daniel in 1993 and they have two children. Chris Daniel is a CPA/MBA and works for the City of Albuquerque.

Dr. Casaus is an active member of the American Optometric Association and New Mexico Optometric Assocation.
